Collection: Tagua Nut Jewelry
Tagua nut, What is it? Where does it come from?
Tagua nut, also known as "Vegetable Ivory" primarily grows in the tropical rainforests of Ecuador, Peru, and Columbia. When first ripened it's an edible fruit. Several months later... once mature and dried it can be carved just like elephant ivory. Though, unlike ivory, Tagua is a natural, sustainable, and cruelty-free product made by Mother Nature.
